e 'little schoolie' is now a complex of sheltered housing. After progressing from Primary 2 pupils then went up to the 'big schoolie' which held primaries 3-7 and secondary 1-3. Some pupils progressed to Buckie High School after primary 7, others progressed to MacDuff High School after secondary 3. The original school had been situated on the bowling green, but burned down, unfortunately I do not know the date, - then the present school was built. Headmasters during my time at school (1953 - 1962) were Mr. Olson, Mr. Campbell, (Biff) and Mr. Espie who was headmaster when I left school, who came after him I have no idea but perhaps someone else can fill in the blanks. Now the school just contains primary school pupils and all secondary pupils journey to Buckie High School.
