I was in Victoria Juniors from 1949-1953 before going on to Grove Park Grammar. I have fond memories of many of the pupils and teachers - MIss Bridgewater, Miss Shone, Mrs Williams, Mr Rydiard, the Head at the time Mr Davies. Apart from once being shunted down a class for talking too much, to my amusement, and my mother's wrath, I had nothing but pleasure in going to school - mind you I was a bit of a swat at the time and was top or thereabouts in all the classes.
