217;r Miwsig and the choir is one demonstration of our talented pupils. The school has been led by of four headteachers, beginning with Mr. E D Davies from 1953 till 1967. Mr. Gerald Morgan took over in 1968, leaving for another post in 1973. Mr. Darryl Rees was his successor until 1980, and 1981 signalled the arrival of Mr. Huw Roberts, who remained until the end of 2003. Mr. Haydn Davies took up his new position in January 2004. All of the headteachers have played a part in the school’s success as have the many memorable teachers who have passed through Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni’s hallowed doors, not to mention the thousands of pupils who have attended the school.
